Vale House Kitchen is an award winning bespoke country skills and cookery school situated in the village of Timsbury 8 miles southwest of Bath. Offering all the traditional courses you would expect from a cookery school it also has the added dimension of teaching skills such as fishing, shooting, foraging and butchery. As we keep our own pigs we like to showcase Smoking and Curing Courses, teaching our guests how to both hot and cold smoke delicious charcuterie, fish and homemade bacon. BBQ Workshop - Kent’s BBQ Cookery School
BBQ Workshop is an independent, dedicated BBQ Cookery School, our purpose is to teach people to barbeque like a pro. The Workshops are run by Jackie Weight, the only non-American ever to win the Grand Champion title at the Jack Daniels Invitational World BBQ Championships in Lynchburg Tennessee. Jackie has over 35 years experience of BBQ, producing everything from simple fare, gourmet cookery, low'n' slow, hot 'n' fast American style BBQ and baking on the BBQ; as well as commercial catering experience.

Coldsmoking Cookery School
Based in the Heart of Buckinghamshire - Turan has been smoking and preserving foods for 20 years and is much sought after for his knowledge and experience.
He featured on Nadiya’s British Food Adventure on the BBC where he spent a day teaching Bake Off winner Nadiya the art of cold smoking fish and also worked with Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen apprentices in London teaching them how to smoke food.
Turan has written books on food smoking and ran a cookery school in Milton Keynes before launching a successful YouTube channel (Coldsmoking Digital Cookery School) with more than 200 videos on food smoking, charcuterie and other food related subjects. Feast and the Furious
Feast and the Furious is our smoked food business, established in 2017. My name is Jon, and I’ve had a passion for food and cooking since I was young. Self-taught, I turned that passion first into a hobby, and then into a business. My love for all things smoked and BBQ’d has shaped most of our offerings, focusing on items that have been smoked, slow-cooked, or BBQ’d.
We started with a ProQ GFC 3000 and a cold smoke generator, aiming to provide mouthwatering dishes packed with flavour, available at markets, farmers' markets, fairs, festivals, private events, and to cafes, delis, and restaurants. Our signature 22-hour smoked brisket is a customer favourite, and we also cold-smoke cheeses like halloumi, Brie, and Stilton. But that's not all—we smoke everything from nuts to butter, salt to chocolate (yes, you read that right, smoked chocolate!).
We use real wood and charcoal to smoke our products, imparting an authentic flavour and aroma that we believe sets us apart from other “BBQ” companies. Slow cooked, smoked or just delicious food is what we are all about!
After starting out with a food truck, we now have a bricks-and-mortar smokehouse in Melton Mowbray, where we also host hot and cold smoking courses on-site.
