
Coleslaw
Forget shop-bought coleslaw and make this homemade super tasty version that's easy to throw together. It’s the perfect side for barbecues and fantastic with pulled pork, burgers, or just about anything.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 Head Red or Green Cabbage (or a mix of both), finely shredded
- 2 Large Carrots, finely shredded
- 1/2 Red Onion, finely sliced
- 2 Green Apples, very finely sliced
Dressing
- 2/3 cup Best-quality Mayonnaise
- 4 Tbsp Sour Cream, or Natural Yoghurt
- 2 Tbsp Honey, or more to taste
- 2 Tbsp Cider Vinegar
- Juice of half a lemon and grated zest of a whole lemon
- 1 tsp Dry Mustard Powder
- 1 tsp Celery Salt
- Salt and Freshly Ground Pepper

METHOD
Step 1
Whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, honey, vinegar, lemon juice and rind, mustard, celery salt, salt and pepper in a medium bowl.
Step 2
Combine the shredded cabbage, carrots and red onion in a large bowl and add the sliced apple.
Step 3
Add the dressing to the cabbage mixture. Mix well to combine. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Cover and chill well before serving.
